PARTING TOOLS
These tools are specifically designed to separate (part) timber into two pieces, and are also predominantly used to make sizing cuts.

BEADING & PARTING TOOLS
Used primarily for forming beads and spigots, these tools can also perform the standard parting tool tasks such as cutting through and forming shoulders.

BEDAN TOOL
The bedan is used in the same way as the beading and parting tool, but the tapered sides allow the tool to plunge cut while minimising the risk of the blade jarring on the piece.
